Boxing Skills

Our unique way of teaching boxing follows a syllabus similar to martial arts, comprising of 8 different progressions. Our classes are designed for beginners with no experience, all the way to competitive amateur boxers.

Physical fitness

Boxing is a full body sport that is ideal to achieve your fitness goals and feel your best! Our classes keep it fun and touch on all aspects of physical fitness including strength, cardio, balance, movement and agility.

Mental Fitness

Boxing is a sport known to promote positive mental health. Punching releases aggression, the movements demand focus, the drills improve resilience, and overall relieves stress and increases confidence.

Boxing classes

Cardio Circuit

  • 45 mins

Cardio Circuit is a class dedicated to increasing fitness. This class will get your heart rate up while you move through a variety of different movements at our own pace. This class is great for cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and fat loss.

Box-Fit

  • 30 – 45 mins

Box-Fit is a class designed to use boxing techniques to increase cardiovascular fitness. This class will include Bag work, Pad word, Foot work circuits and much more. This class will have limited technical work and maximum fitness. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and ages.

Boxing Fundamentals

  • 45 mins

This class specialises in teaching boxing from the ground up. We have created a boxing syllabus, like the martial arts system, where a grading system is used with coloured wraps. This class is predominantly technique-based involving Shadow Boxing, Partner Drills and specific boxing conditioning.

Women's boxing

Women’s Boxing

  • 45 mins

This class is a mixture of boxing technique and cardio to help improve these skills through a range of drills and exercises specific to boxing.

Teens Boxing

  • 45 mins

This class is for teenagers between the ages of 12 and 18 years old. It is a mixture of technique and cardio to help improve boxing technique and fitness for teenagers through a range of fun drills and exercises.

Kids Boxing

  • 30 mins

This class is for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. It is a boxing class with a mixture of technique and cardio. This class will help to improve boxing technique and fitness through a range of fun drills and exercises.

Boost boxing gym is a wonderful place to train. Head coach Steve has created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and all the trainers there are fabulous. If you train here, you will learn lots, sweat lots and have plenty of fun. Lots of classes to choose from - you can focus on learning technical skills or choose a class for fitness and conditioning.
